The Q4 Framework automatically generates and publishes privacy and accessibility pages when activated on new sites. To complete the page setup, login to the site and go to Appearance → Customize → Q4 Future Proof™️ Features → Q4 Policy Page Generation, fill out the fields for the customer information, and press the “Publish” button at the top of the page.
Once the pages have been created, please verify all merge fields in the Privacy Policy are displaying the correct customer info. A link to each page should be added to the “Useful Links” section of the footer by going to Appearance → Menus → Footer Nav.
If the site already has manually created policy pages or was setup before the 2.16.0 framework update that added the feature then you will need to perform a few additional steps. First, delete any manually created privacy/accessibility policy pages on the site and empty them from the site trash. Follow the steps above but make sure to check the box labeled “Generate Policy Pages” below the information fields before clicking the “Publish” button.
