Funnel Marketing

Funnel marketing is a multifaceted system that is designed to lead potential customers to make a purchase.  This marketing strategy leads customers to take multiple steps through a well designed process.  With each action the user takes they are closer to converting and making a purchase.  If we are to apply this strategy to our websites you first must imagine a literal funnel, it is wide at the top but narrows down to a smaller point.  Apply this funnel analogy to our websites, the top of the funnel would be our landing pages and blogs while the button of the funnel would be the booking engine.  Now the website needs to be designed to “funnel” the potential customers from the landing pages and blogs to the booking engine.  We do this by embedding links and call-to-actions within our webpages and with each click the anonymous customers will be closer to converting and making a purchase.
