Getting Analytics Access from the Customer

Here are the steps that the customer need to take in order to add you as a user to the Analytics account.  Make sue to enter in the correct tracking ID in step 3 and delete the content in the parentheses before sending these steps to the customer.

  1. Sign in to your Analytics account.
  2. Select Admin tab at the top of the page.
  3. Navigate to the desired account with this tracking ID UA-XXXXXXXX-X (Enter the correct tracking ID here).
  4. In the ACCOUNT column, click User Management.
  5. Under Add permissions for, enter the email address of the user you want to add.
  6. Select Admin.
  7. Select Notify this user by email.
  8. Click Add.
