Helpful Chrome Extensions to Install

There are many extensions you can add to Chrome to enhance what it can do. There are several that we’ve found to be particularly helpful to the work we do. To install them, simply click on the respective links, below, and click “Install”

  1. Grammarly – A great grammar and spelling checker.
  2. Ublock Origin – An effective ad blocker. Note: Make sure to disable it on Google Analytics, because it blocks it by default otherwise.
  3. Eye Dropper – Allows you to get the hex and RGB color codes from websites so you can match the colors exactly (for example, in an eblast).
  4. Keywords Everywhere – Provides additional keyword ideas within Google search results.
  5. Wave Evaluation Tool – Scans sites for ADA compliance issues and shows you what elements of the page are not in compliance.
  6. The Great Suspender – If you’re a tab addict and typically have lots open at once, this will suspend inactive tabs so they use fewer system resources. Note: You can disable it on specific domains/URLs that you don’t want to ever be suspended (it effectively reloads the page when you un-suspend it, so if you wouldn’t want a page to be refreshed without you clicking the button, disable this extension for that site).

If you find any other helpful extensions, please share them with the team so they can be added to this list!
