How to Off-Board a Customer from Facebook

On a customer’s last day w/ Q4, we need to remove them from Business Manager as well as remove all of our permissions from their direct Facebook Page. In that order.
Q4Launch Admins include: Allison, Casey, Billy, Q4Launch Reports
Here are the steps:
Step 1: IN BUSINESS MANAGER (Business Manager has to be first):
Go to the Business Manager home page.
First, search for the page name in the search bar. Don’t click on anything. Just look to see if there is an active Likes Campaign. There probably isn’t. If there isn’t, proceed w/ the directions below:
  • Click on Business Settings in the top right corner.
  • Next, under Accounts, click on PAGES.
  • Now search for the account name. Click on the account.
  • Click REMOVE in the top right corner.
*** If you get a message that says we can’t remove the account b/c it’s connected to another account like Instagram, you’ll have to go to their direct page and remove our permissions there. Instructions below.
Step 2: IN YOUR PERSONAL OR WORK FACEBOOK, GO TO THE Actual Business Facebook Page
  • Someone in Q4 is on the direct page. They have to be in order for us to bring them into FB  Manager.
  • Go into your personal or business account associated w/ your email. Select the business page needed.
  • Once you’re on the business page, click Settings in the top right corner.
  • Click Page Roles in the left column.
  • First, remove every employee BUT YOU. You’ll need your FB password and you may need to enter is several times.
  • Next, remove our Agency Role.
  • Finally, remove yourself. If you remove yourself any earlier, you won’t be able to complete all of the steps.
  • Email the CSM that this is complete.
***If you don’t have permission to their direct page, you’re done. No action required.
