Best Practices for Onboarding LiveRez Customers

Kelly and I met with a LiveRez representative yesterday to solve the eCommerce tracking issues we’ve been experiencing with customers utilizing their website platform. Below, you’ll find items we should have on hand to ask in the initial onboarding.
  1. Gaining Access to a Partner’s Account: Ask your customer to add Q4Launch employees by using this language – “user in the LiveRez system with the following permissions: Website Business Rules, Website Content, and Reports & Reservations.”
    1. These permissions should allow our teams to implement Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Google Website Verification.
    2. We would follow this flow: Dynamic Website > Website Preferences > Website Analytics.
  2. Confirming Their Partnership Length With LiveRez: If a customer used their website solution prior to 5 years ago, an SEO component may have been present in their initial agreement, and LiveRez would have set up an Analytics account on their behalf or assisted the customer with the initial setup.
    1. If so, we can gain access to that account and not have to create a new one from scratch (preferred).
  3. Implementing Text on Pre-Built Pages: We can implement optimized text on pages built by LiveRez through their system. We will access this through the Dynamic Website Portal (granted in the permissions listed above), then choose Update Website Text on any individual pages we’d like to do so.
    1. Any paragraph text added will appear between the site titles and the fixed coded portions of the LiveRez website platform such as specials, properties, etc. This is very similar to the VR Landing Page/Categorized Landing Page Template, Specials Page Template, etc. in our framework.
  4. Submitting a Ticket: If we need to submit a ticket, we may do so through the Portal or by following this link, then ensuring “Go to the Design Team” is mentioned in the subject line and our LiveRez contact/his team will be the one involved in the solution.
Kelly and I also requested specific Google Analytics access to the master LiveRez account to confirm eCommerce tracking is functioning properly for our mutual customers. If we have to create an Analytics account, she or I can work with those team members to cross-reference.
